Friday Five

Ok....so it's that time of the week....here's my top five!!!

5. I get off two hours early today....we made our goals for the month of March at work so we got 2 hours of administrative leave. I leave at 3:30 on the Fridays that I actually work anyway, so today, I'll be saying bye at 1:30!!!!!!! ROCK ON!

4. I'm feeling way less stressed about the house situation than before. I know we'll sell our's, eventually. And I know we'll find one we love, eventually! It's all in His plan and His timing...so I'm chilling out about it...better said then done...but it's working for today, so we'll go with it! :)

3.I haven't had a migraine for at least 2 months. I used to have migraines at least once a week due to clenching my teeth at night. I even had a mouth piece (that was ruining all that braces did) to keep me from clenching. I stopped wearing the mouth piece, I stopped clenching as hard, and the headaches have subsidded for now. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm much happier when I'm not grumpy with a hurting head:) haha!

2. I GET TO SEE ANDREA AND JULIA-ROSE TODAY! Yes...our date from last week has been rescheduled and I can't wait! It's been getting me through the week!

1. And last but not least........................James and Heather had their baby girl Peyton at 5:26 last night! Megan just texted me this morning and that's all the info I have....but you can bet there will be a post dedicated to this precious little girl and her parents later on this weekend, so stay tuned!

Alright...time to go get ready for work! Enjoy your Friday, post your five and have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two Special Days

So, today is Ryan's Birthday! Happy Birthday Ryan!!!! Usually the gang celebrates Ryan's birthday together. The past few years Randy and I, along with Brandon and Megan, have headed up to Herndon to spend the weekend in DC with Ryan and Lindsey! It's always such a great time and we have so many special memories from our trips: Randy and I getting engaged, Getting lost in the ghetto, ESPNZone, the zoo, putt-putt, Spiderman Masks...the list could go on and on!!!

While we miss our weekends in DC, we know that Ryan and Lindsey are having a great time in Vienna!!! We love you guys and miss you so much!!

Enjoy your birthday abroad, Ryan! :)

Last Friday was Devon's birthday! I'm bummed I didn't get to celebrate with Devon's family, but I wasn't feeling great on Sunday. Devon's birthday tradition is usually Randy and I hanging out with his entire family! It's always a great time and I think they've actually kinda adopted us as family! My fav of the group has to be Devon's granddad....I love it when he falls asleep sitting at the table! :) hahaha!!

D...Hope you had a great birthday and welcome to being a quarter of a century old...whew...it's rough huh!!!:)

Friday Five

There hasn't been much going on this week, so there haven't been any posts since last Friday's top five! Sorry! Maybe this week will hold more adventure....Anyway....let's get to business and today's Friday Five...

5. Today, I have the day off! I am currently still in my pj's and in bed!!! It's awesome!!!!!!!

4. Tonight Randy and I are having dinner with some of my favorite people, James and Jennifer!! We don't get to hang out with them enough. I've mentioned James and Jenn previously on the blog. James went to high school with Randy and I met James at the mall, before I even knew Randy! He's been one of my great friends for awhile now and Jenn has become equally as important to me! I love our dinners together..never a dull moment!!!

3. I got to have a wonderful phone conversation with my cousin, Andrea, this morning. I was supposed to spend some time with Andrea and her little girl Julia-Rose today, but Andrea isn't feeling well. But Andrea and I had a great talk and it was so nice to catch up!!!

2. I have had the pleasure of having lunch with Randy twice this week! He's downtown for training this week and Tuesday he brought me lunch and today, since I'm off, I'm heading to meet him! It's been such a highlight to get to see him during the day! :)

1. We found out two of our great friends are expecting!!!!!!!!! They will remain anonymous for the time being b/c I'm not sure if they are ready for the world to know yet, but we are so thrilled for you guys! I literally squealed with excitement when I found out. They are both going to be AMAZING parents and I can't wait to meet their little one and watch them all together! Congrats guys!!

And that's the 5!!!!!!!! Now, back to enjoying sitting in bed a little longer........:) Happy Friday!

TA-DA...The Big Room

THE BIG ROOM IS DONE!!! I think I can speak for both Randy and I when I say this weekend has been exhausting! We've spent the last 2.5 days packing up stuff in our house and putting it in my parents basement for storage as well as finishing up some projects. We're ALMOST done! The big room is finally done! The gas logs have been installed and we've decorated! I'm so pleased with the outcome and I hate to move!! Below are some pictures! There is also a random picture of the hallway thrown in...we've repainted that also!

Our goal is to have the house ready to go on the market by the end of this week! We'll take pictures of the entire house when we do that! Please pray that we'll sell quickly! Also pray for strength...Randy and I are getting pretty exhausted between work and the house and we really just need to finish things up!

Thanks to Randy's dad for ALL his help in the big room...and to Dale also with helping install the gas logs! Once again my husband has amazed me with his handiness around the house! :)

This is the before and after.

St. Patrick's Day

Luke and Randy celebrated St. Patty's Day together while I was at the shower. Then we hung out for the rest of the night before Luke had to leave for Iowa!!
