Happy Thanksgiving

I'll post pictures of our day later, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for! We've had a great day so far! I got up early and met my friend Jen and we went and participated in the Drumstick Dash in downtown Roanoke. We had a great time catching up and walking! There were over 7,000 people running and walking and there were people from California, Oregon and Washington!! WOW! We are definitely making it a tradition! We also enjoyed laughing at all the people waiting in the drive thru line at McDonalds...they were definitely closed!!!!

SO, here are just a few things I'm thankful for this year...

*My husband
*Our baby girl
*Our amazing families..we are so lucky that all of them live in the area, with the exception of Luke for a few more weeks! We get to see everyone today and don't have to travel.
*Our awesome friends...most of them are more like family and they have been there for us on so many different occasions! We love you all
*Our church
*Our jobs

And the list could go on! I hope you'll all take a few moments to reflect on what you're thankful for!

7 months old!!!

Oh my, I'm so behind! Aubrey turned 7 months on November 6!!! I didn't take her normal pictures, because I was sick with some sort of bug, but I did snap a couple of her just being cute!

Aubrey, this month has been so fun! You are standing more and more on your own. You can't do it for too, long, but you can keep your balance pretty well! We're wondering if you'll be a walker before you crawl!

You've gotten your second bottom tooth!

You went to vote with your Daddy!

You celebrated your first Halloween! You were a panda!

You've started eating some table food. Nothing to exciting yet, just some rolls/bread, mashed potatoes, and usually a little lick of whatever we're eating if you seem interested.

You're still in 6-12 month clothes and 2-3 diapers.

You're still downing the baby food and your milk. You're an eating champ!

Most of all, you're still the cutest kid and we love you so much! Happy 7 month birthday!

UVA "Hoo"aween

We spent Halloween in Charlottesville, at the UVA v. DUKE game! We had a great time and enjoyed tailgating and playing cornhole. We missed Cristen and Kathryn though!!

So this is the last of the Halloween posts....and the last of Aubrey's outfits, that were caught on camera anyway. She may have had more.

For those leg lovers out there...here ya go! You'll notice they aren't quite as rolly-polly. Yep, our girl is growing up. But, I think they are still pretty big....

Last year, I bought this doggie costume at Target for really cheap! I thought our future baby could wear it on his/her first Halloween. Imagine my dismay when it was WAY to small for Aubrey. Her body was toooooo long! Guess it's a good thing, since she wanted nothing to do with it and ripped it off her head in a matter of seconds.
