Reconciled Weekend

Meg and Brandon
Randy and I
A little guitar hero, what gathering would be complete without it! :)
The girls!! LOVE YOU!
Ryan and Lindsey

This weekend, some of our best friends, Ryan and Lindsey Hamilton came in from DC and stayed with us. Ryan sings and plays the guitar in Reconciled, the band that Randy is in (drummer). Brandon (bass player) and his fiance Megan came over on friday night to hang out with us. The boys practiced and the girls just caught up! On Saturday, the guys went to the studio to record and then we all met up for dinner. After that we came back to the house and hung out around the fire pit. It was so great to hang out with all of them and spend some quality time together. Ryan and Lindsey are heading to Vienna, Austria in July, so every time we can get together it's special. I can't wait until our annual April DC trip! :) LOVE YOU ALL! :)

I love Tiki!!!

I had to post some pictures of me with Tiki! Since I'm the picture taking queen, I am not usually in many of them. But I had Randy take a couple of me and the little boy!!! He's toooooo cute! I just love his little face!!!!!!!!

Who loves Mullet's?? We do We do!!

On Sunday, after dinner, my brother decided that he wanted his head shaved. He had let his hair grow out rather long. Well, Kim and Randy hopped right in to help him! Kim had to cut some of his hair off before Randy could really shave it with the clippers. They gave him a mullet at first and I have to say, it looked rather like he belonged in Bedford!!!!!!!!!! Love you Bubby!!!!

Sunday Visit

On Sunday, Randy, Tiki and I headed to my parents for dinner. We left a little earlier than usual so that Tiki could run around my parents yard without a leash. Honestly, Randy and I just wanted to tucker him out so that he would sleep through the night!!! It worked! He ran like crazy and tried to play with Pumpkin (the Springer) and Cricket (the beagle). Cricket wanted nothing to do with him but Pupmkin played a little. We also got to go down to Lee and Betty's (my uncle and aunt) house they are building and visit with them! I LOVE their new house and can't wait until it's finished! It's going to be beautiful!!!!!! We also got to enjoy dinner with my brother who was home on Spring Break and Matt and Kim who came down! It was a great time!!

Tiki and Charlie: A Spaniel Play Date

One of my lawyers at Advance went on vacation this weekend and asked me to check on his Cocker Spaniel, Charlie. I decided that since it was such a nice day on Saturday, I would take Tiki along and have a play date. Kim got to come along and it was so much fun! Tiki and Charlie just rolled around all over the place and Tiki was completely worn out by the time we headed home. The little dog in the last picture is Madison. She is one of Charlie's neighbors and she just watched Charlie and Tiki the whole time!!!

Tiki's First Vet Visit

Tiki had his first vet visit last Thursday. He did a great job and everyone just loved him!! One of the Sink cousins, Debbie Trout, works at our vet and as soon as we walked in, she grabbed Tiki and took him in the back to show him off!! He is going to have to have surgery in the next couple weeks, but other than that he did great! He even got this very attractive bandana, which we took off as soon as possible because he was trying to eat it.

Dad's Birthday

My dad's birthday was on March 1st. Since we were going to pick up the puppy yesterday anyway, we decided to meet my brother in Radford and take him to the Kabuki in Christiansburg. Neither of my parents had even been to Kabuki, and neither had Jimmy, Luke's friend. It was a great time hanging out with my parents and brother and Jimmy.

Kathryn is 2 months old!

Yeah, I know she's cute!!!

Our New Addition...TIKI!!!!

This is our sweet little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Tiki! We got him on Saturday and he is the cutest thing ever!!!

YAY for Tuesdays!

My sis-in-law Cristen and I have started a new Tuesday night tradition of hanging out. Both our husbands tend to work late on Tuesdays, so it's a perfect night for us to get together. Lately, we've started the night by having dinner with the Sinks at Famous Anthony's and then heading over to Cristens. This week, Kathryn had to have a bath while I was there! She even got a mohawk! She was so good the whole time I was there and hardly fussed at all. I was able to hold her for most of the time and she was content!! It was such a great time and I can't wait for all of the Tuesdays to come!!!

Mini Beach Vacation

For the past few years, Randy has gone on a golf trip every February with his boss from the Coffee Shop. This year I got to tag along! It was such a nice break from work! We left on Wednesday afternoon of last week and came home on Sunday. Randy played golf every day and I worked on my thesis, scrapbooked, relaxed and of course...SHOPPED! On Thursday the weather was amazing, a toasty 75 degrees, and I spent a large amount of time on our balcony getting some sun. We had yummy seafood and went to one of our favorite restaurants, Ultimate California Pizza!!!! It was so nice to be able to get away for a few days...I can't wait until next year! Hopefully we'll have some friends to tag along!!
