Dickens Parade, Mr. President
SunTrust sponsored the Christmas parade in Roanoke and Randy won a drawing to ride in the parade! Our friends (and fellow SunTrusters) Brandon and Kara joined us for the ride! It was freezing and there was a lot of waving involved! It was really fun though and we felt kinda famous, like FDR and Truman.

Snow
Beautiful, huh? I'm sure everyone has heard and/or enjoyed the snowfall of the century on December 18-19, 2009! We got 15 inches at our house!

We're still here!
I know, it's been awhile since I've posted! But we've been very busy with the holiday season and just trying to enjoy our time with Aubrey-girl!! So, the next few posts will be dedicated to catching everyone up on some of our happenings during Christmas 2009! And hey..Welcome 2010!

We spent a lot of time looking at the Christmas tree and all the presents underneath. Aubrey surprised us and didn't damage any ornaments or packages! She really liked looking, but wasn't all that into touching! I'm sure next year will be quite different. And maybe we wear our Elmer Fudd hat around...just maybe!

We went to see Santa, ride the train and have lunch with Mama E and Ashley and Aiden. We had a great time! At least on the train. No so much with Santa. As soon as Randy gets our scanner working, I'll post Aubrey's first, second and third (yeah 3!!) Santa experiences. Ughh! But she and Aiden LOVED the train!

We also just hung around in some knee socks. Just because we can. And just because they're cute! I mean, if I had legs like that, I'd wear knee socks too...well ok, maybe not!
