First, a very special shout-out to Ryan and Lindsey Hamilton, some of our very best friends, who are celebrating their two year anniversary today!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! We love you guys and miss you TONS!
I know, I'm lazy. I didn't post the Friday Five. But, in my defense, Friday was crazy busy! I worked overtime, got a manicure and pedicure, got to meet the newest member of the Shank clan, Jackson Ferrell (pictures to come soon) and I went to a bachelorette party!!!!!!! Whew...It makes me tired just thinking about it again!!! So we had a good day Friday and Saturday was pretty much the same...busy. I worked overtime again, Randy worked around the house and we went to a cookout at the Parte's where we had lots of food and a few games of left, right, center!! Now it's a new week and we are heading out tommorrow night for a few days at Myrtle Beach for the Sink vacation!!!!! I can't wait and yes, I'm already packed:) So if we don't post while we're down there, there will be a ton of posts when we get back!!!!!!!Hope everyone has a good week/weekend!!
Tonight, Chick-fil-a, I salute you!Tonight, Roanoke area Chick-fil-a's are donating 10% of their profit between the hours of 5 and 9 to Officer Bryan Lawrence!Doing our part, I drove out to get us dinner tonight, and I was amazed. The drive thru was wrapping all the way around, the parking lot was full, people were eating in the grass, people were parking at Walmart!!! How awesome when a community pulls together!!!Rock on Chick-fil-a, Rock on!!!

5.We had an awesome fourth....we spent the actually 4th with the Sinks and then Saturday night there was the Dooley family cookout....it was so great to see everyone and spend time together.4.Steamer Pots ROCK! Ok...so at the Dooley cookout, Dad made a steamer pot...he put potatoes, corn, squash, zuccini, shrimp, mushrooms and scallops in a pot with lots and lost of Old Bay seasoning and it was YUMMY!!!!!!!!! I can't wait until we have them again!3.JACKSON FERRELL has arrived!! Jackson was born on the 5th at 4:34 am! He and Kristy are both doing well, and although I've only seen 2 pictures...he's SOOOOOOO cute!! 2.Randy and I had the day off together today...he had to work for a few hours, but we were able to spend most of the day running errands and helping KK finish moving!1.We're having dinner tonight with James and Jenn....it's been way WAY to long since we've had the chance to hang out with them...and I can't wait!
Happy Fourth Of July!!!!!!!!5.I got to meet some extended family on my dad's side on Sunday. Tommy (dad's cousin) and Judy stopped by for a night with my parents! They are really cool and it was great to talk with them! Cool Hodges family...who knew! :) 4.We had a cookout last weekend with the Creasy and Young families!:) It was really fun to just hang out with our close friends and play some Jeopardy!3.KK MOVED IN!!!!! Monday was a hard day for the Sink men as they moved KK and most of her belongings into her new home!! :) We all met up for pizza in her sunroom/patio! :)2.I got to spend last night shopping and hanging out with my sissy, Kim! We haven't spent a ton of time together lately, so it was great to catch up and spend time with her!1.It's the 4th weekend! Lots of cookouts, friends, family, fireworks and sparklers!:)
