Friday Five

5.We had an awesome fourth....we spent the actually 4th with the Sinks and then Saturday night there was the Dooley family cookout....it was so great to see everyone and spend time together.

4.Steamer Pots ROCK! Ok...so at the Dooley cookout, Dad made a steamer pot...he put potatoes, corn, squash, zuccini, shrimp, mushrooms and scallops in a pot with lots and lost of Old Bay seasoning and it was YUMMY!!!!!!!!! I can't wait until we have them again!

3.JACKSON FERRELL has arrived!! Jackson was born on the 5th at 4:34 am! He and Kristy are both doing well, and although I've only seen 2 pictures...he's SOOOOOOO cute!!

2.Randy and I had the day off together today...he had to work for a few hours, but we were able to spend most of the day running errands and helping KK finish moving!

1.We're having dinner tonight with James and Jenn....it's been way WAY to long since we've had the chance to hang out with them...and I can't wait!

Fourth Of July Friday Five

Happy Fourth Of July!!!!!!!!

5.I got to meet some extended family on my dad's side on Sunday. Tommy (dad's cousin) and Judy stopped by for a night with my parents! They are really cool and it was great to talk with them! Cool Hodges family...who knew! :)

4.We had a cookout last weekend with the Creasy and Young families!:) It was really fun to just hang out with our close friends and play some Jeopardy!

3.KK MOVED IN!!!!! Monday was a hard day for the Sink men as they moved KK and most of her belongings into her new home!! :) We all met up for pizza in her sunroom/patio! :)

2.I got to spend last night shopping and hanging out with my sissy, Kim! We haven't spent a ton of time together lately, so it was great to catch up and spend time with her!

1.It's the 4th weekend! Lots of cookouts, friends, family, fireworks and sparklers!:)

I am SO glad it's Friday....:) Hope everyone has a great weekend!

5.Randy had an incredible dinner at Frankie Rowlands last night...in fact it was so incredible and he ate so much that he felt sick and miserable the rest of the night! Ahhh that's when you know it was good! :)

4.Our friends James and Jennifer Garner found out they are having a little girl in December!! We are sooo excited for them and I can't wait to see James with a little girl....he'll be perfect! And I'm really excited that I can now begin stocking up for her arrival!! :) We all know I love shopping for babies!

3.I have 4 day work weeks for the next 3 weeks......yes it's exciting!

2.I made $40 at the yard sale we had last weekend.......Yeah, I never make any money at those things and usually feel like it's a waste of my time! This year it's a different story! I made money, I got rid of some of my junk at the goodwill and I'm hoping next time will be even better!

1.One of my best friends, Katie, stayed with us this week while she was showing in the horse show! Usually, I only get to see her once a month when we do dinner in Harrisonburg or if we take a weekend trip to go up to Middleburg. Having her here for 3 days was GREAT!!!!!!! I definitely got spoiled and I wish she could have stayed longer! Tiki also enjoyed it because Katie brought her Jack Russell, Dooley, and they played together!! He loves having another little dog around!!! We already miss them a LOT!!!!!!

I'm a little behind on the posting...so here's a quick catch up for the past week or so!

Last weekend I had a nice trip to VA Beach with Ashley! We weren't able to go to the actual beach due to lots of smoke from the fires in Nags Head and the Dismal Swamp. Bummer! But we did get some wedding planning done and had a really good time just hanging out and catching up...word of advice...don't watch PS I Love You unless you want to ball your eyes out...and don't follow it up with the Notebook...really uncool!

We also celebrated Randy's birthday and Father's Day on Sunday...Randy's actual "Quarter Of A Century" birthday was on Monday, but we did the family things on Sunday! It was a great day with LOTS of food!

This past weekend we were semi busy! Friday night we went out to dinner with Brandon and Megan and Saturday involved a yard sale for me, golf for Randy, the Wine Festival with Brandon and Kara, and finally some ball chasing at Grandma and Granddaddy Sinks for Tiki!! It was a great week!
