FrIdAy FiVe

5.Last Saturday, my mom and I went to the Sidewalk Art Show downtown. I love looking at all the art, and getting to see one of my favorite photographers, Ross Jefferies. We now have 5 of his pictures and I love them all!!!!!!

4.TIKI GOT A KIDDIE POOL! Well, it's kinda for me too! Tiki loves trying to get the fish that are painted on the bottom of the pool to come off! We'll try to get a video because he's too funny!

3.Another Sink Clan member graduated from high school! Josh Holskey graduated with a 4.3! Yes, that's right, he's SUPER SMART! He'll be heading to Campbell in the fall and the beach tomorrow! We got to see him and a lot of other Sink folks on Wednesday night at his graduation party! Congrats Josh!!!

2.Randy and I were able to both be off for part of the day yesterday and we went and donated blood! Apparently Randy has the best blood ever and everyone wants it! And, he donates really fast! She didn't even have time to get me started before he was finished!

1. I'm leaving for the beach!!! As soon as I finish this post and get ready, I'm telling Randy and Tiki Adios and heading to Virginia Beach to visit Ashley for the weekend. We are going to a school party for teachers tonight, the beach ALL DAY tomorrow and then I'm heading home on Sunday morning. Ahhh....I do love the beach!!!!!

Friday Five

5. I discovered that Brusters (Ice Cream Place here in the Noke) has AMAZING frozen yogurt, which is such a great thing for me ...being lactose picky and all!

4.KK is moving! She bought a house and I can't wait to help her with it! YAY Congrats KK!

3.We are heading for a cookout/hang out tonight with the Kratts! Daniel is in and it's definitely time for the boys to visit and catch up!

2.Brandon and Jordon, two amazing guys, are having birthdays today! We love you both!

1. We had a great weekend visit with Katie and Donald! More about that in the post below..but it's worthy of 2 Friday Five posts for sure!

Middleburg Weekend with the Robinsons!

Last weekend we went to Middleburg to spend the weekend the Katie and Donald! We had such a great time. Saturday we went shopping, in the pouring rain! Then Saturday night, we went to a twilight polo match! We took a picnic lunch and had a great time! It was our first polo match and we can't wait to go back for the next one! It was a nice relaxing weekend and so great to catch up with them! I miss them already and can't wait until next time!

5.We're having an open house on Sunday, which means that my house will be cleaner than it ever ever is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I love it when that happens! :)

4.It was a super short week at work for me...only 3 days, but it seemed like longer and I'm glad it's over!

3.We got to hang out with Brandon and Megan this past weekend!!!! Olive Garden ROCKS!

2.I'm hanging out with my favorite niece (only one really) and sis in law today!!! It's been awhile since we had some Sink girl time and I'm excited!

1. We are leaving when Randy gets off work tonight to head to Middleburg for a weekend with one of my BEST friends(and her husband...we love you too, and their 2 horses, 2 mini ponies, 4 goats, 3 dogs, 1 bunny, 1 lizard and assorted chickens/roosters!)! Pictures to follow for sure!!!

Friday Five

Ok..I promise a real picture update soon!!! But here are the top five for this week!

5.Today was a short day at work and we have a long weekend ahead! YAY!

4.David Cook won American Idol!! I LOVED him this season! He's so great...I've downloaded some of his performances onto my IPOD. I liked David A. also, but David C. was my fav!! I can't wait until he comes out with an album.

3.We will be going to the beach in style this year with the Sink clan...Randy's parents have upgraded their motor home to a fabulous PROWLER....(GRRRR Cristen!)! We went to look at it on Tuesday night and it looks like we'll be super comfy at the beach.

2.I got to spend some time at Hollins on Sunday. I helped mom with some of her responsibilities at graduation. I was able to meet some of the Trustees for Hollins, a couple who were incredibly nice, chat with the President, talk to one of my favorite professors...Dr. Flory, and just really enjoy how beautiful the campus is. No matter your opinion of Hollins (RANDY), you can't deny that it is a beautiful place...there have been many special times there...and I love it!

1.I got to help celebrate Jeremy and Kristy Ferrell's new addition! Kristy is my best friend Kim's sister...(really she's like my sister because Kim's family is like my second one...LOVE YOU SHANKS!). Jeremy and Kristy will be welcoming little Jackson to their family sometime in July. We had a great time at their shower and it was so fun to spend time with them...and feel Jackson moving! :) (I promise to post some pictures this weekend!!!!) Congrats guys...we can't wait to meet your little man!!
