Weekend full of Birthdays!

What a weekend! Yesterday (Friday 1/4) was Sandra's (Randy's mom) birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a picture of Randy with his mom and dad at our wedding...it feels like ages ago! :)

Today is our niece Kathryn's first birthday! It's so hard to believe that she is one already!! Last night I told Randy that last year at that time, we were in the waiting room at the hospital, waiting for her to make her debut! One of my favorite things about having a niece was getting to spend time with her and her mom on Tuesday nights. Both Randy and Johnny usually worked on Tuesday nights, so Cristen, Kathryn and I would hang out for a few hours! It was so great to be able to spend that time with them! I miss our Tuesdays!! The first picture is of the 3 of us on one of our Tuesday nights. The second picture is one of my favorites of Kathryn!

Happy Birthday Kathryn!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is also my best friend Kim's birthday!!! She turns 24!! Kim and I have been friends since high school and it's always so much fun to celebrate our birthdays!! I know this year will be just as fun! This is just a silly picture of Kim that I found!
Happy Birthday Sissy!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is my other best friend Katie's 25th birthday! Randy and I were lucky enough to spend New Year's with Katie and her husband Donald! So we kinda celebrated early!! Katie is my best friend from college and I just love her to death!!!We were actually biology lab partners in all of our biology classes...including genetics! Yeah, didn't know we were that smart did ya!?!! :)
Happy Birthday K!!!

This is definitely a crazy weekend full of birthdays for some of the most important people in our lives! We love you all and are so thankful for the parts you all have in our lives!!!!! We hope you all have great days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year!

This is a picture of my best friend Katie and I last New Years. Last year, Katie and her husband Donald (they got married the same day as us!) came to stay with us. This year, Randy, Tiki and I hopped in the Durango and headed up to Purcellville to spend New Years at Katie and Donald's new house! We had such a great time going to dinner at Magnolia and just spending time with them. I hope we can continue our New Years tradition for many years to come! (Pictures of this year to come...I used a disposable camera!!!)

While at dinner, Katie and I talked about what our resolutions were going to be this year and one of mine was being a better blogger, so we'll see how that goes!

Katie and I also talked about what a crazy year 2007 was! Randy and I had a great year. On the work front, I started a great new job and Randy got a promotion! As for school, I graduated in May with my Masters and I have a lovely hard bound thesis to prove all of my hard work! On the family front, we were blessed with having a niece and a cousin both born this year! We also saw many of our closest friends (Brandon and Megan, Brandon and Kara, Ashley and Doug) get married and a couple get engaged (CONGRATS NILAN AND ASHLEY!!!!)!

2007 was great and we were extremely blessed, but I am really looking forward to what God has in store for 2008!

Christmas Day 2007

Christmas Day was packed full of excitement for us this year! We had such a great time seeing all of our family and it was so sad when it was all over! Here are just a few (seriously, I think we took over 200) pictures from the day!

My WaHoo fleece! YAY!

Randy's tickets to go see Van Halen at the John Paul Jones Arena!

Tiki eating the frisbee Aunt KK got for him...I think it lasted 10 minutes before he put a hole in it!

Uncle Randy with his favorite little girl! Teaching her how to play the drums!!

Trying to get Tiki to open his second stocking of the day at my parents!

Pumpkin was worn out from all of the excitement!

My mom got me this book, "My Life with George." It's about a lady who has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! It was such a great book and it proves that Tiki is a normal Cav!

Kathryn ready to get to those presents!

She really enjoyed the Panda coin Uncle Randy gave her...or at least the box!

She's going to be walking in NO time!

My Uncle John and Aunt Becky got my granddaddy a stocking...it was his first stocking ever and it was so neat to watch him open it!!!

Giving Tiki his stocking on Christmas morning!

The little one and I on Christmas morning!

Randy opening his stocking!

Christmas Eve 2007

We celebrated Christmas Eve at my parents house this year. My mom's side of the family came down for dinner and then afterwards my brother, sister and I exchanged gifts with each other and then gave our presents to our parents! Enjoy the pictures!!!!!!

Sink Christmas Dinner

This past Sunday all of the Sinks (that's a lot of us) got together for our annual Christmas Dinner. We all ate too much and I drank a quart of boiled custard before so needless to say I was filling a little full. Here are some of the pictures from the dinner.

Kathryn with her first gift

Going to get her next gift

Big K on Santa's Lap (notice there is no screaming)

Opening all those gifts is hard work
After assessing the situation Kathryn realized that it would be much easier to just go get all of her gifts straight from Santa's bag

Cousin Josh getting his present from Santa

You are only supposed to get gifts from Santa until you are out of high school, I find it a little hard to believe that K-K is still in high school. Don't You
