Randy's 24th Birthday

Saturday, June 16th, was Randy's 24th birthday! We went over to his parents for cake and ice cream and had a great time!! Above is a picture of me with my neice Kathryn!!!

Relay for Life

On June 15th, Randy and I along with Brandon, Kara, Su-Ling and Devon went to Relay for Life at Green Hill Park in Salem. We walked fora little while for the Suntrust team. It was great fun and hey, we got glow necklaces and ice cream!! YAY!

Cooking classes....well kinda

So Kim and I have been trying new recipes every once in awhie at the house! So far we've made potato soup, taco soup and a pizza bake. I have to say, so far, I'm pretty impressed with our skills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been awhile....

So it's been awhile since my last post...a couple of weeks actually so here's the update!!!

Earlier in June I headed up to Richmond to go to my friend Margaux's bridal shower! Margs and I met at Hollins and spent 2 years pretty much attached at the hip! She left Hollins and went to VCU and I was so sad! Luckily we've managed to keep in touch! She's getting married on July 14 to a great guy named Matt!! It was such a great weekend and I had a lot of fun hanging out and catching up with her and her friends! LOVE YOU GSG!!!!!

Happy Birthday Brandon!!

Yesterday was Brandon's (the guy on the left) birthday!!! So yes, Brandon, you get the honor of having a post!! Of course, you'll probably have another one this month! Brandon and Megan are getting married on the 30th!!!! Finally, the weddings for our group will be complete!!!! These four people are some of the best friends that Randy and I have!!! We love you guys!!

So, for Brandon's birthday, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings with he and Megan, Brianna and Heather (his cousin and sister)! We ate TONS of food, had chocolate cake and it was a great time!! Brandon also spent his day golfing with Randy and the other Brandon. Their new golf blog is listed in our links. It's called The Grudge Tour. I'm not sure I really understand what it's all about, but that's ok!

Anyway, all of that to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON! Hope you had a great one! We love you!

Locks For Love

So I decided to donate 10 inches of my hair to a charity called Locks for Love. They take your donated hair and make a wig for a child who is suffering from cancer and needs a wig. Seeing as how my hair had gotten quite long, I decided it was time for something new. This is my hair before from the back.
My beautiful long hair from the front. BYE HAIR. I was starting to get really nervous as we walked into the salon. I had knots in my stomach. I think I was more nervous about getting my hair cut then I was about getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cute new short hair style!!!!! I love it and Angela did a great job! She had a really hard time cutting the ponytail off because my hair was so thick!! She said I had beautiful thick hair and that it was the healthiest hair she had ever seen! :) Impressive I know! : )

BYE BYE Hair!!! And so I start the growing process again! Hopefully by this time next year, I'll be able to donate another 10 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
