I thought it would be a good idea to get Aubrey some shoes, seeing as how it's getting colder and winter is around the corner. It's not really acceptable to let your baby go around with out shoes on.
So, off I went in search of some cute little boots. You know the kind, fake UGG boots, in brown and pink (yes, similar to those that the famous Harper will be sporting (yes, ridiculous that I know what shoes she wears and that I'm using a parenthesis inside a parenthesis, but I digress)).
No luck in my first stops, Marshalls and TJ Maxx.
We found some at Babies R Us.....they were perfect.
We bought them.
We didn't try them on her feet first.
We got home. I put them on the dresser for the next days outfit.
The next day came. I got her dressed, mom was here to help.
Time for her cute boots.
On her feet they go.
Time to fasten them on the sides with velcro.
On her cankles they do not go.
Yep, my kids cankles are too big for her fake Uggs.
Nice.
So in search of a new, bigger pair I go.
None anywhere at the mall.
Target doesn't disappoint. Cute, pink, fake Uggs.
This time, I tried them on her feet.
This time, they still wouldn't zip around her cankles.
Even a size 5....yeah she's 6 months old and size 5 boots are too small.
Looks like we'll be investing in some very warm socks.

hahahaha!!!!
we had the opposite problem with kathryn. her feet were so skinny that shoes would just fall off of her! we still have a hard time finding cute little dress shoes that aren't too wide!
