Church Tacky Sweater Christmas Party

We may have been the youngest ones at the party, but we all enjoyed the Tacky Sweater Christmas Party at church! We also MAY have been the only ones who actually considered it tacky and not festive. To each their own! :) Heather did place for her attire:)

Hotel Roanoke - Breakfast with Santa

Randy really wanted us to do breakfast with Santa at Hotel Roanoke this year! I was hesitant at first, but Aubrey (and us too) really enjoyed it! The breakfast itself was great! And they had pictures with Santa (which turned out really well!) and crafts for the kids! We definitely want to do it again next year and hopefully can get a table full of friends to join us!!

Roanoke's Christmas Parade

SunTrust sponsors the Roanoke Christmas Parade each year! Two years ago, Randy had his name drawn to ride in the SunTrust carriage! Aubrey was only 9 months old, so she stayed home!:) This year, Randy was lucky enough to have his name drawn AGAIN! We figured Aubrey would love riding in it, so we all bundled up and headed downtown! We told her she got to ride in a carriage like a princess, so of course, she had to wear her princess skirt over her clothes....and she may or may not have also had a wand!:) We invited Heather and Peyton to join us! We all really had a great time!!!

Miss Roanoke Valley was there, along with Miss Teen Roanoke Valley and the girls LOVED meeting them and I think envied their crowns a little:)

Finally in the carriage!! We waited FOREVER!! One of the guys with the Miss Roanoke Valley gang gave us hand warmers!! It was pretty cold!!!

Aubrey's First Haircut!!!!

Yes, you read that correctly! Aubrey was over 2 and a half when I finally took her to get a trim! Monica was great with her (and me!) and just trimmed it a little to make it look neat! Aubrey was so excited for her haircut and her turn in the chair!!
