We had dinner with the Garners before Christmas. Aubrey slept until right before we finished and Addy was still kinda asleep the whole time! It was a great time for the adults to catch up! James, Jenn and Addy also got Aubrey this super cool walker toy! She LOVES it! Thanks guys!

Big TROUBLE

Yep, that's Aubrey standing up in her crib! We've lowered her mattress to the bottom setting. No more standing up for this gal! I'm sure she could, but what's the point when you can't look over your crib? This is how we found her one morning! :) She knew she was in trouble!

Hold on to your hats...

AUBREY IS 9 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!!!!!

I'm not sure where the time went! I can't believe that she's almost one!! (And yes, being the obsessive compulsive person I am, I'm already planning her party!)

Here's a look at what 9 months looks like for our girl

*She likes to move it, move it! She's always on the go. She'll crawl around the house and she'll even take a few steps if you hold her hands! She can stand on her own and maintain her balance really well. I'm a little afraid we might have a walker on our hands soon!

*She's becoming VERY independent and stubborn, both of which she inherits from her father. If she doesn't want your help or you have something she wants, she'll swat your hand away! If she's not in the mood for whatever it is your feeding her, she'll arch her back and refuse to eat it!

*She hates being strapped into her car seat. Restraint is not her friend. Neither are hats.

*She feeds herself really well! She's had a lot of chicken lately and it's the one thing other than puffs that she'll consistently eat. I'm hoping to work more on her menu options. Anyone have suggestions?

*Aubrey had her first 2 overnight visits with my parents! She did really well!! And we survived too!

*We're up to 6 teeth now! All 4 on the top came in around the same time! Whew!

*We had a lot of celebrations with Christmas and Aubrey did amazingly well with the lack of naps and running around! We saw Santa 3 times and hung out with Aiden, Maddie and Addy a lot!

*Aubrey welcomed her Uncle Luke home! It took her awhile to really warm up to him, but she loves him now! Especially when he lets her play with his phone or computer!

*She continues to LOVE the dogs and "pets" them! I know I say this every month, but she really does just light up when Tiki or Timber come around!!!

*She's losing a lot of her "baby chunk." As she gets more and more active, we're seeing more and more of her rolls disappear. Don't get me wrong, she still has amazing little thighs and isn't a skinny-mini, but she's not as chunky as before! She's in 9 month/ 6-12 month clothes now, so she's around average!!

Aubrey, we love you and are so thankful for the past 9 months!! Time is flying by and I can't wait to experience the rest of your little life! We love you!!
