Catch Up Post #3 - 4th of July

So, my kid had 3 different outfits for the 4th....yeah, insane, I know!

Catch Up Post #2 - Jackson's 1st Birthday

On July 27th, we headed up to Jeremy and Kristie's to celebrate Jackson's 1st birthday!! We had a great time with our Shank family!! Jackson has gotten so big and I can't believe that he's already 1!!!!

Catch Up Post #1- Baby Jason's Shower

On June 20th, I (along with Heather and Megan) helped to throw a shower for our friends Jason and Kelly Shilling! They did Baby Jason's nursery in a jungle theme...with lots of monkeys! It all turned out so cute!!!

We're back....and Aubrey is 4 months old!!

So, last week (8/6/09), Aubrey turned 4 months old! I wanted to wait and do her 4 month birthday post until we went to the doctor today! Miss Thing weighs in at 16 lbs 13 ozs (95%)! Go chunky monkey!! She is 25.5 inches tall (85%). So we just have an all around big girl! Here's what Aubrey has been up to this month:
*Sitting up....she still wobbles a little, but she can sit up by herself for a few minutes!
*Smiling and Laughing..we have such a happy girl! She smiles a lot and it's so fun to be goofy to try and get her to laugh
*We're seeing her personality...she'll let you know if she doesn't like something!
*She's drooling up a storm! We're just waiting on some teeth to pop through
*Aubrey is such a chatty girl! She'll talk/sing in the car, talk to Tiki, talk to her burpcloths...and herself!
*She's still sleeping through the night...Praise the Lord!! She goes down around 9 and then Randy wakes her up for the day around 7! We're going to work on making her bed time a little earlier!
*Aubrey has really started playing with her toys more
*She's in size 2-3 diapers and in clothes from 3 to 9 months!

Enjoy some pictures of our girl at 4 months! I can't believe how big she is! She's not a little baby anymore!!!!!! And stay tuned...my goal is to catch up with blogging by Sunday!!!

Aubrey is 3 months old!!!

Aubrey is 3 months old today! I can't believe it!! She is so much fun! Be prepared for a LONG post of pictures and what Aubrey has been up too!

*We have a thumbsucker...the day of her 2 month appointment, she came home and found her thumb. She won't take a paci anymore, she only wants her thumb!
*She smiles, giggles, and coos all the time. She's the happiest in the morning and she loves to be on her changing table. She likes the curtains behind it and gets so excited to see them.
*She takes bottles! I started back to work last week (part time) and since then, she takes bottles like a champ on the days that I work!
*She is still sleeping through the night. We put her down between 8:30 and 9 and she'll sleep until around 8.
*She's started reaching for things. She'll reach for her burp cloths and her toys.
*She interacts with the toys on her exersaucer jumpy thing.
*She puts herself to sleep for naps. I put her in her crib and she only fusses for a couple minutes and then she's out!
*She grabs at her feet and really moves her legs around.

These are just a few of the things that our baby girl is doing! We're loving every stage she goes through and we are so lucky to be her parents!
