A girl at work just had a baby boy. For her shower, another girl and I decided to attempt a diaper cake! It turned out really well and I'm so glad! I can't wait for the next shower and a chance to make another one!

Last night, after all the Easter festivities were complete, Randy and I headed to Starbucks for some coffee with Brandon, Megan and Daniel. Daniel is in the states for some training and was able to come home for the weekend. I think it's been way over a year since the guys had been reunited, so it was great to be able to have coffee and catch up! I love seeing Randy with his friends, especially the band guys. It's so great to see how close they still are and listen to them talk about all the "old" days (as the girls listen to stories they've heard at least 10 times). Anyway, we went to Starbucks, and were in line ordering. Randy ordered our drinks first and while I was waiting for mine, I heard some guy ask if he was Randy Sink. Turns out, it was a guy that was in Ryan's youth group at North Roanoke. He was a big Reconciled fan!!!! Of course that made me really excited so I told Brandon and he and Daniel went to talk to the guy.I just always think it's really neat to run into someone who loves the band as much as I do! I think that the guys really love it too, while they are no where close to being Rock Stars :), it's nice for someone to appreciate their hard work and creativity. I just thought it was neat and wanted to post about it! :)
So I meant to do my update of posts last night, but a migraine interferred, so I'll try to get to that tonight! But I promised some pictures of the downstairs bedroom remodel...so here they are! We don't have any pictures of before, probably b/c I thought it was awful and didn't want any record of it! But, for those of you who never saw it, the walls were very dark wood paneling and the vents were a dingy off white. There were broken brown tiles on the floor that moved when you walked!I absolutely LOVE the new look! It's cozy and I kinda want to stay down there! Just to see how it is! Maybe one night! Those of you who stayed previously in all the yuckiness...please feel free to come back and try the new look! :) Of course, you'll have to do it soon! We're hoping to be on the market in a few weeks...and with this room looking so good...how could someone NOT snatch the house up quickly! :) Thanks to Randy's mom for helping us paint, Randy's Dad for helping with the baseboard and my mom and dad for helping arrange the furniture! A HUGE thanks to my husband who put up with my nagging to get this room done! :) I love you!
